Yea I gotta say thats one thing (of many) that does annoy me.. We are forever acquiessing to everyone elses culture and losing our own.. Darn it! Although saying that, this applies more to England specifically, cause as far as I can see, the celtic nations have all managed to keep their national identity alive, even if just to bring in the tourists. Even Cornwall has managed to start reviving their own native language a little.

Yeah and thats a good thing, keeping our culture alive

it annoys me too cause loads of people come to england because its some much better than their home country, and then all they do is complain how our culture insults them and refuse to adopt some of the place they live. like that thing with the teacher who wouldn't take off that veil thing, how can she make a connection to the kids? she'd have more luck talking through a letter box lol.

I still cant believe that the people of London had to petition for the England football club to put up the English flag, and even then barely got them to do it. cause it apparently reminded people of the crusades and what happened. its our flag, and I'm proud of it.

Daft isnt it.. Especially when the red cross represents so many good things. Like The Knights Templar and their contributions to modern medicine and banking. Dunno why we always get fixated on the bad. If we are going to start on about the crusades we should stop everyone wearing beards cause that reminds me of the crusades all the time!! and horses.. there were loads of them! hang on a minute.. hmmmm yep ban all christians.. they started it afterall.. and sand, sands bad too..

The list could go on and on.. RIGHT Im making a St Georges flag stamp next!!
